The TL 2150 ½ AA is an old model from the well-known Israeli company Tadiran Batteries. The nominal voltage is 3.6V and we measured it 33 years after the production and it still measured the full voltage 3.63V.
In the photo below, you can see Arie Weiss, the owner of P.Weiss (since 1939) with the battery that was manufactured in 1991, over 30 years ago and still functioning. This battery is on display for all to see in our showroom in Kfar-Saba.
We are very proud of the Israeli Tadiran brand of batteries, especially as Arie himself was a member of the company many years ago.

Lithium Thionyl Chloride Batteries:
Lithium Thionyl chloride batteries have a lithium metal anode and Thionyl chloride (SOCl2) as active cathode. A lithium thionyl chloride battery nominal voltage is 3.6V. Lithium thionyl chloride batteries (Li/SOCl₂) belong to the lithium primary cell family.
These batteries provide a power source with special high energy density, over long periods of time. They have an outstanding service life (15-20 years depending on application).
Lithium thionyl chloride batteries have excellent shelf life with a low self-discharge rate (<1% per year) fantastic performance, and are widely used in many industrial fields.
